EDTC 813 Advanced Using Integrated Software across the Curriculum
Students will examine the patterns of traditional use, current issues and emergent trends of digital technology in learning, and develop an expertise to function as entrepreneurs in establishing new products or services. They will assess integration strategies that support and enhance educational experiences across a diverse array of learners and analyze professional development and training initiatives in technology for relevant stakeholders.

Assessment 1: Interviews
Each student should interview and be interviewed. Each student should individually submit the audio file, list of interview questions, and the edited transcript for the interview that they conducted.

Assessment 3: Informal Learning Report (group project)
Working with your group, write a short report (600-800 words) on the themes of how adults learn outside of school. You will look for themes in the interviews from you and your classmates. Briefly describe your coding method and cite at least one of the assigned articles as a basis for your decision.
Assessment 4: Create a Qualtrics Survey
Assessment 4: Qualtrics Survey. Create an online survey with Qualtrics to gather information about teacher’s opinions on ChatGPT in education. Your survey should consist of a total of 5-7 qualitative and quantitative questions—your quantitative questions can be Likert items.
Your survey should start with a permission form with ‘skip logic’.

Assessment 5—Turn Raw Survey Data into a Report
Scenario: The Excel file are the results of a Survey assessing teachers' opinions on ChatGPT.
You will write a report analyzing the data.
Quant Question -- What are the differences among different teacher demographics (e.g. location, grade, education)?
Answer this in two parts:
1) Describe the data in a concise way
2) Discuss any interesting patterns
Qualitative Question:
What are the predictions about ChatGPT? Summarize and look for themes.
The report should be between 500-1000 words.
